What Can I Expect During my Kybella® Treatment?
Each Kybella® treatment will be performed at your local Renew & Rejuvenate Aesthetic MD Clinics facility by one of our expert staff members. Before your Kybella® treatment begins, a topical anesthetic may be applied to your treatment area. This is to ensure you remain as comfortable as possible throughout the entirety of your treatment. Once numb, a stencil will be placed under your chin and a series of Kybella® injections will be made to the skin and fat underneath the chin. The entire treatment process typically only takes about 20 minutes to complete.
What Results Can I Expect from Kybella®?
Because Kybella® injections are minimally invasive, there is no downtime or recovery period associated with each treatment. Redness, tenderness, and swelling around the treated area are normal and typically generally on their own within a few days of treatment. Because it takes several weeks for the active ingredients in Kybella® to break down the fat in your treated area, we ask that patients schedule their treatments two to three weeks apart. Patients will be able to see the ultimate results of their Kybella® treatments about three to six months following their final appointment.
